Patricia was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and moved to San Francisco as a teenager. She attended the San Francisco Academy of Art University to study graphic art and design. One of her pieces was selected by the City of San Francisco as the longstanding street banner depicting her beloved Inner Sunset neighborhood where she lived for many years. She turned her creative energy towards patient care in 2000, when she helped Dr. Lim start her medical practice at Sequoia Hospital. She has been part of every change and phase growth of the practice, always taking a special, genuine interest in the patients. Her passions outside of work include painting, coral reefing, playing mahjong and traveling.
